CAS EPS (English Prep School) an intense English-based academic program designed to help Chinese speaking students improve their English vocabulary and conversation skills. This class is offered two times a year, in May and November. The class is offered in Beijing, China as well as in the United States, and is essential in ensuring success in transiting to an American high school.

CAS EPS focuses on the strengths or weaknesses of the individual student. Some students may have the ability to read and write English fluently yet lack the basic conversation skills to participate in an American high school class. CAS EPS offers ESL (English as a Second Language) classes which focuses on listening, speaking, and conversational English.

Another component of the CAS EPS program focuses on "academic vocabulary." Many students may know the basic concepts taught in American school classes, yet do not know the technical terms used in the classes. CAS EPS offers academic vocabulary classes to increase one's knowledge of these technical terms.

CAS EPS is essential in guaranteeing success in America's elite high schools.
